MISSION

The mission of Gunita is to provide the highest quality coffee, served in a unique and inviting
environment. We create a space where you can come and enjoy the best of Filipino culture. We
believe that coffee is not just about the beverage, but about the culture and experience that
goes with it. At Gunita, we offer a wide range of Filipino foods and drinks, from coffee, and
coffee rice to our famous Filipino meriendas. We are also committed to helping our local farmers
sell their produce, so we offer meriendas that will help them earn for their hard work.

EXPLANATION

We built our coffee shop to offer not just coffee, but also coffee rice- which is very beneficial,
some of its benefits may include its ability to boost skin health, increase the metabolism, aid in
digestion, reduce high blood pressure, help weight loss efforts, improve the immune system and
provide protection against dysentery, cancer, and heart disease- and Filipino meriendas.
Instead of cake or other pastries, we offer bananaque, kamoteque, bibingka, puto and other
Filipino meriendas. We wanted to give our customers an experience that they would enjoy, so
we designed a space that looks like an ancestral house and instead of free WiFi we offer a
books to read while sipping their cup of coffee. Because in our place we pretend that it feels like
1893, as our tagline says "Established in 2023, but feels like 1893."
