Visible light misconceptions

-visible light can cause a skin cancer from the sun like
wrinkles and age spots.
-even while eletromagnetic energy is light, we can only
perceive a small fraction of it, which we refer to as
visible light.
-the most damaging type of UV radiation is the short-
wavelength UVC. It does not make it to the surface of
the earth because the atmosphere filters it entirely.
