- There are many opportunities to monitor and assess science inquiry skills
across a unit. Focus on explore and elaborate phases with emphasis on
sub-strands: questioning and predicting; planning and analyzing data and
information; evaluating and communicating

Science inquiry in academics

A. A student must pose a question

B. The student determines what constitutes evidence and collects it

C. The student looks at evidence and comes up with an explanation

 D. The student connects their finding to scientific knowledge
