Is the technology for recycling adequately developed?

Increased taxation will not be a sufficient deterrent.

Nuclear energy is too risky.
The human race has evolved quite fast in the past two hundred years. Humanity
made mistakes and has taken wrong decisions from which paid great costs. In the
process of evolving and growing there will always be space to make a left step,
but only if the walker learns from it.
The ambition of people grows in a high rate and the projects that are build with
the purpose of making the life easier come with prices that, in some cases, nature
has to pay them. Pollution is one of the world’s most urgent problems and it’s
primary factor is fossil fuels. One solution to minimizing the use fossil fuels is
increasing the prices and taxes of petrol. This will encourage people to purchase
electrical cars or use public transport if it is not necessary travelling by car. But
this drastic solution of fixing the problem may cause another one, the complaint
of citizens and even rising the use of petrol.
On the other hand, recycling could be the answer. It is easy and everybody can do
it. With the help from the government, installing containers and dustbins to
distribute the garbage to its right place, people would be determined to recycle
and not to throw away what can be reused. However, this solution can lower the
pollution percentage only by a little. Still, there isn’t something that can surely
decrease the fast degradation caused by fossil fuels and which has been accepted
by everyone.
With all being said, the humanity makes baby steps into resolving and finding an
answer to the question of pollution caused by the use of fossil fuels, but hope
cannot be lost because humans learn from how the nature is affected.
Paul,
I have read your blog and I think that I might have some answers to your
questions. Firstly, I am sure that once you move into the city, where all dreams
come true as people say or where there is the land of all possibilities you will long
for your home and your mind will take you back to the world of freedom you lived
in for 18 years. But the deal with city life is not so frightening as it seems to be. It
is true that you need to always make steps forward even if you do not know
where you are heading or what your path is as everybody around you does, but
the city can show you what your options are. You may feel buried under the
reality around you, but as long as you see your next step, take it.
As I said, life can be easier in the city, because there is public transport that can
help you go wherever you need, there are shops which can help you keep up with
the present fashion or trends, there are libraries and places to study, you can take
your drivers license, you can stop anywhere to have a meal after a tiring day and
many other things. You can also have a job to make your own money and to get
experience with working with people.
To your last question, yes, the homesickness and the longing to return home can
be and will be heavy on your shoulders because nobody is a master at adapting so
fast to a new life, but you will also be thirsty to gaining knowledge and studying
and you will surely be open to new opportunities and to star walking alone into
building your future.
