It is the obligation of the employer to provide appropriate first aid facilities to workers working in his

organization.

Here are the factors that could be taken into account in a review to determine whether the provision of
first aid is realistic and proportionate at MSL:

1. When reviewing the first aid provision at the MSL, it is fount that that first aid provision is not
Appropriate with the general risk level of the MSL.

2. When considering first aid provisions at MSL, the hazards present in the workplace not considered So
the first provision is not realistic and proportionate at MSL.

3. The accident history of the MSL is reflecting high numbers that is considering in provision of first aid
and the number of first aiders present at the MSL.

4. The number of workers present in the MSL which is 1200 workers this is not considered while
considering that the provision of first aid so first aid arrangements are not realistic and proportionate as
required in MSL.

5. When considering the provision of first aid at MSL, the presence of vulnerable groups is not taken into
account.

6. As MSL is a pharmaceutical distribution organization, all first aid arrangements are not made with the
risks associated with the pharmaceutical industry.

7. The MSL Pharmaceutical Organization staff shift pattern are not considering when deciding provision
of first aid.

8. It was observed in the scenario that the list of designated first aiders was not provided during the
induction training, no arrangements made by MSL management to give designate tasks to team leaders
regarding provision of first aid.

9. The location of the MSL needs is not considered as there are sites where we need more basic
equipment than others.

10. MSL's first aid training records should needed to be reviewed and considered when making
arrangement related to first aid in organization.

11. The environment of the organization is not taken into account when considering whether the
provision of first aid is realistic and proportionate to the organization needs.

12. The distribution of the workplace is not considered when providing first aid, because if the location is
spread over a larger area, more first aid equipment and rescuers are needed to cover whole facility.

13. The provision of first aid is not deemed to comply with MSL law enforcement requirements.

14. When reviewing the first aid arrangements at MSL, it is not considered that the first aid
arrangements are in line with international guidelines.
15. The provision of first aid should be no consideration is given to comply with the standards set by
international organizations such as the ILO.

16. When reviewing first aid provision at MSL, absence and illness data and health data work is not
taken into account so that appropriate first aid arrangements can be made.

17. When reviewing first aid provision at the MSL, no previous enforcement and reports of inspections
and audits should be considered.
