RISK ASSESSMENT
1. My personal habits, practices, values, and beliefs can cause harm and contribute to my
vulnerability in a disaster if I didn’t prepare an emergency plan and I don’t have the materials
that are needed in time of disaster. Some areas of the house that has weak foundation might
cause damage at the time of disaster.
2. Location
Potential risk: near the main road, live near the butuanon river in Mandaue, surrounded by tall
infrastructure

Potential risk: some houses are made of light materials, surrounded by tall buildings
The main source of livelihood- workers in organized sectors, factory workers, and street workers
Potential risks: occupational uncertainties, illness, natural disasters, and market instability

• Recognize the importance of networking and building partnerships with
different stakeholders.
• Develop a simplified plan of action on how to be prepared to manage disaster
