Construct 2 sentences as examples for each of the ten rules on the agreement of subject and
verb,

1. The verb must agree with the subject (noun/pronoun) in number and person.
● My brother is crying.

2. The verb should agree with the real noun.

● The father of the family is taking all his children into the right path.

3. Nouns joined by ‘with’ or ‘as well as’ must be used with a singular verb.
