    “All summer in a day” by Ray Bradbury


    Exposition

    The story's exposition is about the planet Venus and how it rains there all year round and the children who live

    there are dying to see the sun, which happens once every many years.

    Complicating action

    As the story "All Summer in a Day" unfolds, it becomes clear that Margot, the protagonist, is an outcast who is not

    accepted by the rest of the children.

    Climax

    Margot is locked in a closet by William and the other students who bully her right before the Sun actually came

    out.

    Resolution

    They let her out of the closet.
