LIST THE DIFFICULTIES STUDENTS FACE

WHEN LEARNING TO READ. SHARE WHAT ARE SOME CHALLENGES YOU FACE WHEN
READING IN YOUR SECOND LANGUAGE.

So far the difficulties I can find the following ones:

 Changes in the brain during the acquisition of reading

 Some teachings of reading strategies are better adapted to the brain.
 Most of the methodologies to teach reading are better than others.
 Several cases include analyzing the causes of dyslexia.
 Dyslexia is different from the brain of a non –dyslexia reader.

Frankly, when I started off reading English I had some challenges that I
had to take control of them some skills were extremely difficult to
understand however the perseverance and constancy which I had could
help me to develop them in a best way.

With this, I do not mean that my second language development is excellent,

on the contrary sometimes I make some mistakes when I try to get fluency
or pronounce some words that I don´t know hence I believe the best way to
improve it is practicing a lot with extensive reading exercises listen audios
and in other cases record myself or looking the mirror and keep talking.
SO BE IT.

STUDENTS FACE WHEN LEARNING TO READ. SHARE WHAT ARE SOME
CHALLENGES YOU FACE WHEN READING IN YOUR SECOND LANGUAGE.

Some difficulties the students face when learning to read are:

 Lack of vocabulary
 The reading is not appropriate according to the level.
 They don´t catch the main ideas.
 They don´t recognize the topic sentence.
 Know new words are difficulty for them.
 Lost the interest when the see long reading.
 Are afraid of misspelling words.
  Commonly the students associate the writing with the pronunciation.

To be really honest some difficulties I face when I learning to read were a lot of but the
common is the lack of vocabulary because when you read you need to interpret the context
but if you don´t know what is the meaning of the words probably you will lost the main
ideas of the reading.

Another difficulties is when you are learning other language you think that all the word
have the same pronunciation in other words you think the correct pronunciation is the same
to writing.

And finally at the beginning of the English learning when I saw long reading I lost the
interest to continue reading because of most of the word weren´t familiar for me.

Reason why Sabrina love reading;

 One of the main reasons Sabrina mentions is because of through the

reading she can feed her mind.
 Another one is through the reading she can come up different
characters that is fun for her.
 Other reason not less important than other is due to the reading she can
involve with the history of the reading and travels in time with the
characters.
 And finally when she is reading she forgot everything that happens
around her life.
