The Sitio Leader’s Farmers Association is composed of __ active members which

engaged in corn production. During harvest season, some volume of product were dried and
need to be stored before selling to market. Lack of storage facility has always been a problem
that were encountered by the farmers during this period. Hence, Sitio Leaders Farmers
Association strongly proposed the acquisition of this project in order to address this problem.

Hermetic storage bag is a portable storage facility that can be used to store dried
agricultural commodities. It does not require a permanent area for the association to donate like
storage warehouses and other infrastructure. It has an ability to preserve the quality of
commodities for long period of time. Thus this project would greatly help our marginal farmers in
the community.

VII. ECONOMIC BENEFITS/ IMPACTS edit/revised)

This project shall be serving 294 hectares of corn area. Hermetic storage bag is open
to every farm in the community who is willing to use with minimal cost of rental. This project
would serve as income generating for the association and could help increase income of
farmers by providing an affordable and easy access to this project.
VIII. SUSTAINABILITY PLAN edit/revised)
Proper evaluation and monitoring will be implemented to ensure sustainability of the
project. The operation and management will be handled by the officers and members of the
association. The pump and engine should be kept clean and store in a specific area after use to
ensure its longevity.
It was also decided by the association to collect 30 pesos per day as a rental for every
usage. On the income, 60 percent will be sued for the maintenance, repair and operation cost
and the remaining 40 percent will serve as savings of the association. Savings will be deposited
