SUBJECT: REQUEST TO RENDER SERVICE DUE TO LOW PRESSURE AREA

As per MINDANAO WEATHER FORECAST issued at: 5:00 pm 17 February 2023, the

Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 410 km East of Davao
City, Davao del Sur(6.5°N, 129.3°E). ORANGE WARNING LEVEL: (75,000-150,000
drums/square kilometer) COMMUNITY: PREPAREDNESS
FLOODING is THREATENING in low-lying areas and LANDSLIDES in mountainous
areas. Affected areas: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Surigao
del Sur.

Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains due to LPA. The rest of
Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms
due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe
thunderstorms.  Moderate to strong winds from the northeast to north with moderate to rough
seas will prevail over the eastern sections of Mindanao. Elsewhere, moderate to strong winds
from the northeast with moderate to rough seas.
