What is UXLx?
Going on its 14th year, UXLx is a unique four-day User Experience event set in sunny Lisbon,
Portugal. In 2023 is set for 23 to 26 May. A premier event for User Experience Professionals, Designers,
Information Architects and Usability Practitioners, UXLx will bring together 500 professionals from
around the world. Presenting a world class lineup of speakers, from celebrated authors to brand-new
voices, UXLx is the largest event of its kind in Europe, having attracted in past editions attendees from
almost 40 countries all around the world.

The programme includes 10 inspirational talks, 1 full-day and 2 half-day hands-on workshops, where
speakers will share the most up-to-date practices in the field, so attendees can strenghten their skill
set and carry them over into their daily work.

renown experts. Their fields of expertise span across the entire range of disciplines under the User
Experience umbrella.
Such an outstanding set of industry leading speakers is not usually found in European Conferences,

Our Venue
We booked a fabulous venue for the event in the heart of the new
Lisbon Business District and facing the magnificent river Tagus
estuary (one of the largest in Europe).

The Venue can accommodate up to 500 people and is set with

world class facilities, fully accessible to attendees with conditioned
mobility. Participants will be provided with a fully catered lunch,
showcasing a range of dishes from the rich and varied Portuguese
cuisine. International alternatives, as well as vegetarian, vegan and
other limited diet options will also be provided.

Coffee breaks showcasing Portuguese pastries will be served in every intermission. Free, unlocked
wi-fi and numerous power sockets will be provided to all attendees.

The conference will take place in a large auditorium filled with natural light and presentations will
be displayed on a 15m2 (160 square feet) screen. Workshops will take place in five different rooms,
holding from 50 to 60 people comfortably.
