I have had a sequence of relevant experience in this position for the last three and half years. To
start with, I had worked at International Agricultural Development (IFAD/PET project) as extension
Officer, farm manager in CEELBAHAY and operation consultant in Terra Nuova and IGAD SHEIKH
TECHNICAL VETERINARY SCHOOL (ISTVS) reference center by the survey of dryland resilience
developmental project . Similarly, this role equipped with me ability to I have gained invaluable and
hand-on experience in all aspects of agriculture extension from Extension information strategies and
managing of trainings of farmers in relation information through Disseminating and making
demonstration and lecturing of farmers and also Coordinate village extension workers and women
groups. Furthermore, I had worked International Fund of Agricultural Development
(IFAD/TRANSTEC) as a Farm manager at Somaliland Research Center (ABURIN), I have ability to
ensure beneficiary selection procedure and criteria are understood by the community and trained
community in farmer demonstration of intercropping, spacing, prevention of post and pre harvest
losses, marketing and also mitigating the impact climate change. These jobs taught me how to be
compassionate.
