Deall Product Case Study

Deall is an exclusive career portal that connects top talents to companies. We launched on April 2022 &
one of our main focus for Q2 2023 is an increase of talent sign-ups to manifest our goal as the #1 Career
Portal for Indonesia.

The Challenge
We want to create a referral program within the app where users can share their referral code, so their
friends use the code to sign up. Then, they’ll be eligible for some rewards.
(1) What do you think is the best user flow to implement this referral program? How would they be
informed? What would be the AHA moments for users to be triggered to share their code?
(2) What do you think is the best rewards scheme for this program?
A little hint: Balance out between what’s the most attractive reward user-wise, but still
reasonable & logical budget-wise. The rewards can also be in the form of giveaways or lottery –
just a wild idea :)
(3) Risk analysis is something that is optional but preferable. Considering the nature of our career
portal is targeted for professional & curated talents only, how do you make sure the referral
program does not sacrifice the quality of our talent pool?

read, most importantly it has to be a document that explains itself without you presenting it.
