family etiquette
• There are no obligatory codes of behaviour when meeting The Queen or
a member of the Royal Family, but many people wish to observe the
traditional forms.
•For men this is a neck bow (from the head only) whilst women do a small
curtsy.
•Other people prefer simply to shake hands in the usual way.
As etiquette experts Debrett's states, it is customary
for the guest of honour to sit to the right
Turn your back on Her Majesty - it is considered
rude.
Interesting fact: unofficial photography is not
permitted in royal palaces.

codes of behaviour when meeting the Queen or a member of the Royal Family".
Members of the royal family cannot appear in public in inappropriate clothing,
such as a tracksuit at a formal event or too revealing clothing during the day.
When addressing the monarch, first address her as "Your Majesty" and then as
"Ma'am".
Royal ladies cannot sit with their legs exposed. Instead, they are advised to keep
their knees together and cross their ankles, a pose known as the "princess tilt"
pose.
The women of the royal dynasty also have a special way of walking up the stairs.
Royal etiquette is a model for the
entire nation of England.
This is a great example and great
etiquette.
