do you think the most important to you? Rank it from highest to lowest. Discuss your
answer on the concept map below.

Which do you think is the most important?

Answer: For me the most important of all the qualities of an effective science teacher being
mentioned is hard working and responsible, because hard work together with being
responsible are important values to teach children and have a lifelong impact on their
future capabilities, confidence, and happiness. Teaching our little ones or even the older to
persevere when things get tough and to work hard to achieve their goals and aspirations is

one of the most important skills our children can learn. As a teacher, being responsible
enough brings out the best in students and inspires them to strive for greatness. Students
are considered as the future of the nation and humankind, and a teacher is believed to be a
credible guide for their advancement. Not only do they guide students in academics or
extracurricular activities, but teachers are also responsible for shaping a child’s future,
making him/her a better human being. A teacher imparts knowledge, good values,
tradition, modern-day challenges and ways to resolve them within students. A good
teacher is an asset to the students.

The most important quality that a teacher should have is patience. A great teacher
is very patient with their students and their parents to deal with the same
questions and problems over and over again. You never give up on your students
and would try out new ways to help them succeed in school that made patience is
the best virtue that an effective science a teacher could ever had.

Hard working and being responsible science teacher is the best that all parents want their
children to have. "Best" here implies that the teacher has the responsibility to be one of the best
trained and knowledgeable in his or her subject matter expertise. It also means that the
instructor can teach skills and facilitate learning just like a coach does in sports. Not every
teacher, however, needs to have a Ph.D. or be an expert on the subject he is teaching. Many

3 successful baseball, basketball, and football coaches have not been all-stars. What is important is
for the teacher is to be a fair, dedicated, and honest motivator and facilitator who can get the
most out of his/her students through concentration, attention to detail, and practice, much like
a coach of a sports team.
