A BRIEF INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE EVENT

The world Cancer Day takes place every year on 4 February. World Cancer Day aims to prevent millions of deaths
each year by raising awareness and education about cancer and pressing governments and individuals across the
world to act against the disease.
So, this year's World Cancer Day's theme, “Close the Care Gap”, is all about raising awareness of this equity gap that
affects almost everyone, in high as well as low- and middle-income countries, and is costing lives.
