Lesson Idea
Lesson idea implementation: I plan for my students to create an eBook based on the goods
and services lesson. First, the students will be taught a brief lesson on goods and services and
then will be shown the sample eBook I made about goods and services. The students will then
be guided on how to start their eBook to in, which they will continue to create. Students will
make aware of the goals set in this lesson by providing the proper tools to teach someone else
about goods and services. The teacher will monitor the students while they work individually
on the assignment to assist students. I will conclude this lesson by giving time for students to
share their books with the class.
Managing engagement: Students will be informed that this eBook will be shared with the
class to help endure that every student is actively engaged in working. Students will also be
informed about the time to finish material ( if not finished in class, the day of will be given
time in class tomorrow to finish and present.) Students will also participate in co/use the
program with the teacher for extended help.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL): This will help enhance learning for students by
providing a different way to offer learning material and a different way of viewing the learning
material. Students will become engaged by using their creativity to make a final product.
PowerPoint software helps support the UDL principle of action and expression by allowing
students to show multiple ways to show how they learned the material best for them.
