NARRATIVE REPORT ON ENROLLMENT

To ensure the smooth opening of classes last August 22, 2022, the Department of
Education (DepEd) was implemented the enhanced enrollment procedures that are reflective
of the current health and safety situation in the country for S.Y. 2022-2023. July 25-August
22, 2022, was declared as early registration and start of the enrollment period both
public elementary and secondary schools.
San Martin Elementary School was joined and conducted of the said activity.
There were assigned teachers each day to cater the parents who wanted to enroll their
children in our school. The school instructed to use the Modified Basic Education
Enrollment Form which provided by LIS Coordinator Ivy A. Puedan.
Prior to the early registration day, necessary preparation was made, like
hanging of tarpaulins and conducted ricorida so that parents of the community where
really informed. Instructions were posted on the facebook page of DepEd Tayo San
Martin, on how to enroll and what are the requirements needed during enrollment. The
School Head of San Martin Elementary School, initiated “FREE HAIRCUT” for first
20’s early registered and “FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES” for first 50’s enrolled in the
said school.
On the day of registration, the teachers of San Martin Elementary School
assisted the parents on how to fill-in the forms. The teachers also provided a drop box
for the enrollment. Some of the parents enrolled their children through text and call.
Many parents responded positively to the new way of enrolling their children. The
school increase 1.6% for the previous enrollment.
