commence the commission of the crime of Rape against the person of

direction where she was sleeping, putting off her skirt, but did not perform
all the acts of execution which would have produce[d] the crime of rape for
the reason other than his own spontaneous desistance, that is the timely
arrival of minor victim’s mother who confronted the accused, and which
acts of child abuse debased, degraded and demeaned the intrinsic worth
and dignity of said minor complainant as a human being. 6
