A Day at Calapan Nature Park

It was Sunday! It’s family day. Our family went to Calapan Nature
Park. Mother prepared our favorite kakanin for snacks: puto, kutsinta,
and suman. Father also brought citrus fruits fresh from the farm:
dalandan, lemon, and orange. I could not wait to see the animals in
the park. I brought my camera for picture-taking.

Wow! The place was really peaceful. It was a perfect place for
relaxation. I admired the flowers and the tall trees. I saw many birds
there: dove, parrot, and serpent eagle. There were also wild animals
there: wild boar, wild cat, and tiger. Other animals included deer,
donkey, monkey, ostrich, and rabbit. And even if they are not real, I
enjoyed taking pictures with the animal statues like giraffe,
hippopotamus, and our very own tamaraw.

It was a tiring day but I will surely love to go back to that place
again.
