America has a wide range of vacation destinations with different prices.

of a national park? A beach getaway? Or a small, fun place getaway? All these and

many more are available in the United States at a budget-friendly price. Below are

some of the vacation destinations in America you can travel to on a very affordable

budget.

1. The Glacier National Park. This is one of the best cheap destinations in the

United States, with an amazing scenic spot at the border of Canada and the

Northern edge of Montana. The park has free activities led by a ranger, such

as stargazing at the Logan Pass, hikes in the park, and game drives. A small

entrance fee is paid, and from that, you are free to hike, climb and swim in

the park. Traveling to Glacier National Park involves traveling north along

the coast and the Columbia River. Some of the highlights at Glacier National

Park are having meals at the dining car with cascades, watching the sunrise

in the morning and the sunset in the evening while on the train, and

experiencing the moment in Montana.

About the Glacier National Park lodge, since most of the time the Glacier

Park Lodge is cool and drizzly, there are huge warm fireplaces that are so

inviting to tourists. There are also many couches, rocking chairs, and huge

warm, covered balconies. The lobby has board games that you can play, and
if you want to stay connected, there is Wi-Fi. The lodge has two restaurants,

a beautiful compound, and a huge pool.

In Glacier park's red bus tour, there are antique visitor's vehicles with open

tops to help visitors see trees and the mountains along the sun road at

Glacier National Park.

2. Destin. In Florida, there are panhandle boasts of the sandy coastline that the

public can access. These public points are cheap getaways for tourists where

you are able to enjoy the sun at the Crystal beach park shores and the beach

at Henderson State Park with Appalachian quartz sand. You can end a

beautiful day at the beach by exploring Destin Harbor Boardwalk or Gator

beach. Destin is called "the World's Luckiest Fishing Village." Its beaches

have bright shores with pure Appalachian quartz. The sand at the shores

stays cool during summer and also gives an emerald tint to the waters when

hit with the reflection of sunlight.

Some of the activities enjoyed thee are splashing of water in the park by the

children, traversing of seaside bunkers by the golfers, snorkeling and scuba

diving by the visitors at the deep sea to try fishing for fun. 

At Destin, there are cheap accommodations of less than 200 dollars per

night. If you are in for cheaper rates than the normal ones, it is wise to avoid
visiting Destin on busy summer holidays/seasons, although the temperatures

are sweltering. But in the case of good weather, April and May are the best

months for visiting since the water is warm and the temperatures are very

comfortable. You can also visit Destin during the winter seasons when the

prices are way down, but during these seasons, you will miss out on most of

the top activities done at Destin.  

3. The Santa Fe. This is a destination that does not require you to shell out

dollars to enjoy the place and visit the new capital city of Mexico. The

atmosphere of Santa Fe can be enjoyed from the shadow of the Sangre de

Cristo mountains at very affordable prices. There is a lot to enjoy at Santa Fe

Plaza such as; the art lining Canyon Road and the Romanesque architecture

at the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi at no fee. At the Georgia O'Keeffe

Museum, you can enjoy most of the artists' works, and visitors younger than

18 are free admission to the museum.

Santa Fe is one of the best destinations and has a unique outdoor world full

of adventure and recreation activities, beautiful arts, culinary shops, spas,

modern and ancient cultures, and shopping activities.


It is a four-season vacation place where the environment is clean and dry,

and the sky is always clear and blue. Sunshine is on for a maximum of 325

days of the year whereas the sky at night is always stunning. 

Santa Fe is rich in art, history, and culture since it has many restaurants,

museums, and art galleries enjoyed by children, families, and everyone.

4. Portland, OR. This is the home of tax-free shopping for craft breweries and

countless boutiques. Portland, Oregon offers a lot of activities that are

budget friendly for tourists. When you visit Portland, you can peruse the city

of books at Powell, Portland also has a downtown area hosting free concerts

during the outdoor summer seasons. Farmers are also not left out, as there is

a Saturday morning market. Free admissions and complimentary services are

offered at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland between March

and November.

Portland, Oregon, is well known for its green and clean environment. There

are Columbia rivers in Portland, Oregon. It also has high-tech industries

developing in the city. The city is also called "The City of Roses" since there

is four-acre land of international rose test gardens. It is also called a "City of

Bridges" since there are several bridges, such as the Hawthorne Bridge, the

oldest bridge, the Fremont Bridge, the newest bridge, and other bridges.
Portland, Oregon is also known for lush Japanese gardens, the forest park,

the largest urban wilderness, and the places for hikers.

Portland has one of the best public transport systems that go all the way to

the international airport of Portland, making it very easy for travelers in the

destination. 

Fun places in Portland, Oregon are such Waterfront Park at the Willamette,

art galleries, restaurants, developed warehouses, unique boutiques and open-

air concerts and festivals, and fun activities such as climbing to the north of

the park to get a good view of the town and the colorful street of Portland. 

5. Gettysburg. This is a historical destination where the three-day battle in

1863 happened and the address given by former president Abraham Lincoln

Gettysburg. You can visit the place to learn more about the pain on the

battlefield that took them to sweat, blood, and tears. Besides being a

historical destination, there are farmers' markets in Gettysburg to be checked

out, boutiques to be visited, and art galleries and cafes in downtown

Gettysburg. 

This destination is fit for both romantic getaways and educational vacations.

Some restaurants offer American cuisine and local drinks in their so cozy

inns in Gettysburg. There also are many historical attractions, such as the

Gettysburg National Military Park, the Jennie Wade house, the Shriver
House Museum, the Eisenhower National Historic Sites, and Sachs Covered

Bridge. The destination is far more fun as it is informative to the visitors.

6. Athens, Georgia. This vacation destination is where free attractions like

parks and historical places are found. At the University of Georgia, the

Georgia Museum of Art is found there, and the State Botanical Garden of

Georgia, where you can get a whole fun experience without paying anything.

Just 70 miles from there, in the southwest of Athens, a trip to Atlanta won't

cost much.
