What is E-commerce?

Ecommerce, also known as electronic commerce or internet commerce,


refers to the buying and selling of goods or services using the internet, and the
transfer of money and data to execute these transactions.

AMAZON (B2C)
Amazon is an online marketplace on which businesses may
set up a store and offer products within strict rules.
With all the different types of ecommerce, customers can
browse options and make purchases from anywhere with just a few
clicks. Amazon makes it easy to sort and compare products by price
or features. Online payment innovations like Amazon Pay further streamline the
checkout process.
SHOPEE (C2C)
Shopee started as a consumer-to-consumer (C2C) marketplace
but it pivoted into a C2C and business-to-consumer (B2C) hybrid
model. The company partners with over 70 courier service providers
across markets it serves to provide logistical support for users.

LAZADA (B2C)
Lazada is a B2B and B2C platform where merchants can buy and sell
products via mobile as well as website. In 2012, it launched its first
website selling goods directly to consumers in Malaysia, the
Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam and in 2013, it started allowing
third parties to provide goods on this platform.

Google AdSense
AdSense for Shopping is our latest product in site monetization for retailers and
commerce-focused sites who drive product sales. It allows you to place relevant
Shopping ads, like those you see running on google.com, onto your website.
Similar to other AdSense products, you earn revenue based on the performance of
those ads on your site.

Philippine Statistic Authority or PSA (G2C)


The sale or purchase of goods and services, whether
between businesses, households, individuals, governments, and
other public or private organisations, conducted over computer-
mediated networks. The goods and services are ordered over
those networks, but the payment and the ultimate delivery of the
good or service may be conducted on or offline

Senseware (B2G)
Senseware is an internet solution service provider, with the
main product being a complete IoT Technology Stack. In detail,
Senseware’s service provides modular connectivity for the
digitization of assets in the physical environment.

Bhoomi Project: Online Delivery of Land Records (G2G)


Bhoomi is a self-sustaining e-Government project that
automates the transmission of 20 million rural land records to
Karnataka's 6.7 million farmers. The Karnataka State Government took up and
developed the 'Bhoomi' project. It was done so to computerise all of Karnataka's
land records. However, the initiative was co-sponsored by the Ministry of Rural
Development of the Government of India and the State Government of Karnataka.
