Mid-Term Assignment-(20 Marks)

Required: You are required to construct and launch your course. 


 

Project Objectives

Part A
 To learn selling services online
 Learn to hunt intangible product
 Learn to develop a rationale for justifying your target market
 Learn to find out the Problem in the society/market, analyze the demand and need gap,
choose your niche and create a brand around it.
 Learn to optimize the content using Keyword/SEO

PART B: Digital Delivery


 Learn how to record, edit and post content

Project Deliverables:
 Select a topic of your choice based on the criteria discussed in the class.
 Research the problem/ requirements of your society/market- learn what people are
searching for and what solution you can offer them as your intangible product.
 Research your topic and make a list of Keywords associated with the topic
 Design course content using the list of keywords, infographics, statistical data, pictures,
videos etc.
 Add any additional reading /watching resources such as blogs/videos.
 You may use Doodle/chat GPT or any other software/tool/App for the course designing
 Record, edit and organize the course content using your mobile phone. You may use the
Video conferencing room (soundproof) at the IBA city campus.
 Please ensure to use a noise free microphone and a green background.
 Create your story to promote your course and record a 1 hour lecture video.
 Add any quizzes/exercises that you think are beneficial for the students to practice. This
may be practice quizzes/ exercises available online. Share the link in the course outline.

Project SubmissionTasks:
1. A word documents required that should contain 

a. Project title
b. Introduction- Brief introduction of the course/topic.
c. Product Demand- Give a rationale for why you chose this topic. Is there a demand
and a need gap in the market? Does your course solve any problem/s of the society?
d. Target Market: your target market for this course
e. Product delivery: If you have to market this course professionally, which platform
(teachable/ udemy etc.) would you choose to host this course and why?
f. Product Promotion- Brief marketing strategy and promotional tools for promoting this
course
g. List of the Keywords/hashtags for promotion.
h. Attach your course link at the top of the document.

This doc file is your REPORT. Save this file with the name (Report)

2: Design your course poster. Course poster in PDF form to be posted. Save file name as (Poster)
3: Design your course thumbnail, which will also be in PDF form. Save file name as(Thumbnail)
4: Make a course outline in a doc file and save the file name as (Course Outline)
5: Link of the course video attached in your doc file.
6: Make another doc file for the transcription of your whole video.

Note: If you are interested in earning money online by selling online courses, this course may be
used as a demo to collect customer reviews. 

You will have to sign the consent form to upload your course on the online media marketplace,
which is a public platform (details will be shared later). Your course will be published free of
charge. 

Marks Rubrics
1. Content Organization: (3 Marks)
This will be your course outline.

2. Topic: (1 Marks)
Choose the topic of your course.

3. Course Video: (5 Marks)


Video quality should be up to mark along with video description.
Audio should be explicitly clear and audible.
Focus on the screen frame, SEO, Dressing: color of dress, style, makeup, jewelry, and
hairstyle. Your video should be well edited, and no less than 1 hour.
Your video should be made on any video editing app, and uploaded on your drive folder.

4. Poster: (3 Marks)
Your poster should have you either standing or sitting/ no slouching.

5. Theme (1 Mark)

6. Thumbnail (3 Mark)

7. Report: (3 Marks)
Why you have picked the topic, Who are your course target market, what are the benefits
of the course and your experience designing the course/ recording the video.

Guidelines:

All Doc files, and PDF files are to be uploaded on your Google Drive /or Dropbox. Make a Drive
folder named: (YourFullName_ERP). You are supposed to submit the link of your drive on
LMS. Make sure access is allowed.
All your files should have your name and ERP at the top.
LMS Submissions STRICTLY ONLY

Late submissions will not be entertained.
