CBSE ROs along with the City Coordinators will try to ensure maximum participation
of students involving all the schools at the above said places.
A. Organising Agency
CBSE has Sahodaya School Complexes (SSCs) across the country. The Sahodaya School
Complex is a group of neighborhood schools who voluntarily come together to share
best practices and innovative strategies in various aspects of school education including
curriculum design, evaluation and pedagogy and also in providing support to teachers
by regular capacity building exercises. At present, there are more than 200 active
Sahodaya School Clusters across the country.
SSCs can be roped in to conduct different interschool activities in the cities in which
G20 Meetings have to be convened as mentioned below to create awareness about G20
and buzz about it in the city. The cities where there are no Sahodaya School Complexes,
there City Coordinator/Training Coordinator can arrange for
interschool/collaborative/individual activities for the intended purpose.
B. Target Population
To mark the occasion of India taking over G20 Presidency for the first time
5|P a ge
D. Objectives
To make the students and community members aware about India taking over
as G20 Presidency
E. Suggestive Activities
Aim: To enable students to gain insights on how G20 countries are playing a crucial role
in advancing and supporting the implementation of the global goals.
How: Through the activity/activities designed at the local level, the students will know
about the contributions of the mapped country in the area of the assigned theme of G20
meeting.
The activities have to be conducted before the actual event/ G20 Meeting in the
City.
While carrying out rallies and other group activities, all safety protocols be
followed.
The activities should be centred around the theme of the G20 Meeting in the city.
6|P a ge
The schools in the city which are not the part of the Sahodaya School Complex
may also be invited to participate in these activities. Also, where there are less
number of schools in the designated places as indicated in the calendar, the
organising agency will try to rope in the schools from the nearby areas and try to
create awareness.
Information with regard to G20 may be accessed from the official website of G20
https://www.g20.org/en/
Maximum participation of the students and other stakeholders can be
encouraged.
Activities may be planned for different age groups. If age group wise activities are
planned, then activities selected/designed should be appropriate for the
particular age groups.
Students will study the contributions of the mapped country in the area(s)
related to the theme of the awareness activities assigned.
The brief write ups on G20 prepared by NCERT for the students of Classes VI to
VIII and Classes IX to XII may be shared with the students to make them aware
about G20.
A Nodal Officer will be appointed by the concerned Sahodaya School Complex
to coordinate for these activities and information of the same will be shared with
CBSE.
The details of the activities to be conducted by the concerned Sahodaya School
Complex should be prepared in consultation with the member schools and duly
shared with CBSE along with the proposed dates.
A report of the activities conducted will be shared with CBSE at the following
link within one day after the conduct of the activity/activities:
