FactSet Research Systems Inc is a financial information and analytic software for
investment professionals. FactSet offers access to data and analytics to analysts,
portfolio managers, and investment bankers at global financial institutions. The
company does not offer products for individual investors. FactSet's business focuses
on technology and client service. In addition to combining disparate databases, the
company also develops its software. FactSet provides clients with consultants,
telephone support, and training.

Responsibilities:

● Working in a team of 18 engineers in a 24/7 setup as a


production and database support engineer.
● Worked on the dashboard generated and client related
jobs/workflows issues/tickets following SLA’s response and
resolution times.
● Diligently updating client related issues within the given
turnaround time.
● Checking/Coordinating with custodians/clients regarding the
missing data file.
● Providing solution on coverage drops, missing outliers,
securities and portfolios related client and internal team
queries.
● Remotely connecting to client morph session to investigate
Analytics and parse date fall related issues.
● Adding missing fields for the client data by executing
command line.
● Coordinating with Client/Vendor on actionable items like data
mismatch, file size, empty files and inappropriate data types
and other data integrity related issues.
● Involved in customization of client production workflow
related request by coordinating with the engineers
simultaneously.
● Assisting client on File FTP related issues.
● Configure and monitor the app, network performance through
monitoring tool FTS (on premises),
● Fixing ECS related downtime by resubmitting the jobs.

Problem Analysis including Analysis of stack trace.
Server/System administration and Monitoring using tools like
FTS, Kabana.
● Perform regular Version Control, Configuration, Maintenance,
and Performance Change Management activities.
● Work directly with internal stakeholders;
professional services, Product development,
DevOps, Engineering, Infrastructure, Testing and
Product management teams for specific cases
reported by customers adhering to OLA’s.
● Provide feedback internally on processes, tools, and market
trends, innovations to make a sophisticated product and be a
global leader.
● Studying and understanding the new features
emerging in the Portfolios and Analytics world and
come up with ideas to improve the product to meet
the changing needs. Work with the product
management and engineering teams to propose ideas
and implement them.
● Document, develop and review content for knowledgebase.

● Managing Team activities, scheduling weekly meeting,
calibrating their potential by conducting weekly session,
preparing shift roster, commuting roster.

production stats and automation/enhancements task reports to

and to operate other production analysis using Putty terminal.
