INTRODUCTION TO
PROBLEM STATEMENT
In many universities, especially ones with a big physical footprint, there are multiple
courses/divisions/lectures happening at once. This often poses a challenge for new students
who are not as aware of the layout of the college building. Software to assist students in
locating classrooms/labs can be implemented in colleges to help ease this issue.

externalizes knowledge about users in order to:
1) Create a shared understanding of user needs.

User Journey Map
A journey map is a visualization of the process that a person goes through in order to
accomplish a goal. In its most basic form, journey mapping starts by compiling a series
of user actions into a timeline. Next, the timeline is fleshed out with user thoughts and
emotions in order to create a narrative.

1.Locate the classrooms, staffrooms, labs etc on every floor.
2. Directions of all roads, classroom to classroom all over university.

available)
