Title: Intervention procedure in case of blocked drum even if handled manually.

Affected products: all condenser and heat pump dryers produced in Yate
Factory (industrial code 95…).

In case of blocked drum that cannot manually rotate from the door side, please
proceed as follows:

BELT STATUS
As first step, dismantle the right side panel to verify the belt status.
BELT: OK
Verify the bottom status.
If the bottom is ok, skip to the 2nd step.
If the bottom is damaged during the transportation :

1. VERIFY THE BEARING PAD STATUS

BUMP STOP: KO

Bump stop KO  drum off of bearing pad.


The bump stop is damaged or scratched.
Set the drum in correct position.

BUMP STOP: OK

If the bump stop is ok, skip to the 2nd step

2. VERIFY FAN STATUS

Dismantle the fan cover and verify the fan status.


FAN: KO

If the fan is glued to the cover


panel (plastic residues on the
fan, worn cover), replace only
the fan, paying attention to
correctly set up the new one.
Insert the fan until the hub reaches the mechanic stop (top of the shaft, see pictures
below).

Verify the correct clamping of the motor mount screws:


FAN OK
If the fan is ok, dismantle the drum and skip to the 3° step.

3. VERIFY IF THE DRUM IS CEMENTED (even with CINGHIA KO)

Verify if the drum is cemented to the rear panel, as you can see in the pictures above.

In case of cemented drum:


On heat pump dryers, replace the rear gasket and add the specific lubricant, as
mentioned in TB001651. On condenser model, please replace the rear panel kit with
a rear gasket already glued in place.
Lubricant code: C00379852.

Replace the rear gasket

Add the specific lubricant


Look at TB001651 (C00379852 lubricant code)
