Medicare
You've devoted your time and energy in ensuring your employees have the proper insurance
coverage and benefits they need for themselves and their family while employed at your
company. But now that they're nearing retirement, it's important to know how to help them
make the transition onto Medicare. Senior Benefit Services is here to help YOU make that
transition as smooth as possible.
DID YOU KNOW that the Full-Retirement age is increasing to 67 years old? But the minimum age
to enroll into Medicare remains at 65.That's two years of potential overlap in employer and
Medicare coverage. It's important to know how Medicare complements employer coverage so
your employees don't end up paying extra penalties or missing important enrollment periods.

the month prior to their 65th birth month. (e.g. If their birthday is March 1st, then their IEP will
be based off of February)
