The most important cultural practice to my identity is being respectful. Using Po and Opo to talk
to elders is a respectful way to talk to them. Pagmamano is a sign of respect to elders and to
others. Saying mano po is to get their right hands of elders and the back of their hands will place
your forehead to show respect.

Do you think cultural degradation is inevitable? Explain your answer.

Cultural degradation is inevitable, if once no one practices the culture. If some Filipino loses
interest in their culture. Some Filipino is no longer using their own dialect and it can change their
culture generation by generation.
