Monday 4/20 - Read Chapters 1 & 2 then answer this question.

1. Find and describe an example of foreshadowing within the first two chapters.
An example of foreshadowing in the first two chapters, is when Ramon gets into the
pearl business with his father, and he is really excited. I believe that this is
foreshadowing, because eventually, Ramon asks his father to go out on the boats with
him and learn to dive for pearls. I think that Ramon got bored of the pearl business on
land, he wants to learn and dive for pearls, on the water.

Tuesday 4/21 Read Chapters 3 & 4 then answer this question.
