As you learned on the webinar, webinars are one of the top two ways
to get people to buy products and services…

But in spite of how wonderful this model is - it’s got several gaping
holes that are costing webinar creators 50-70% of the sales they could
be making.

On average, only 20-35% of everyone who signs up for a webinar will actually
attend.

When they registered they were pretty excited to get the transformation you
promised them…

And then life gets in the way. Between the to-dos and the distractions, they
often forget how excited they were... (and many even forget to even attend).

The solution is to keep building on that initial enthusiasm, so that by the


time your webinar rolls around, they're even more eager and excited to
attend.

How do you do that? 

By giving them content that starts to deliver the transformation you


promised when they signed up for the webinar.

Before the webinar actually starts!

And while you’re at it, build the relationship so they get to know you, trust
you, and want to learn from you.

For example, of you were a dog trainer, you could share:


✓ A special report that shows your best techniques to get their dog to
immediately stop barking on command
✓ A questionnaire asking for their biggest question or issue with their dog’s
behavior with a promise that you will specifically address many of those
questions in the webinar
✓ A video, introducing yourself to the audience, talking about how you plan
to serve them in the webinar

✓ An announcement the night before the webinar of something new you’ve


just added to the webinar in response to the questions you’ve received

(Of course, every one of those emails will also contain a reminder about the
time and place of the webinar so they won’t forget.)

What you’re telling potential attendees is:


✓ You’re interested in them 
✓ You’re responsive to their specific needs
✓ They can trust you
✓ You’re going to give them great information that will help them improve
their lives

And you’re doing that even before the webinar begins, so they should attend
so they can get even more.

This results in:


✓ Higher attendance
✓ Attendees feel more positive about you
✓ And they’re more receptive to your offer

Key #2 .

webinar.

Usually because You didn't provide enough valuable content (it becomes a
pitch fest)

✓ You didn't get the offer right

So, give them something truly valuable that will help them (regardless if
they buy or not)… but don’t give away the farm.

Choose something your prospect needs to do in order to achieve their desired


transformation... and teach exactly, step-by-step, how to do it.

Start by looking at the challenges your audience struggles with that relate to
the product you’ll be selling them.

For dog owners struggling with out-of-control dogs, the problem may be that
their dog goes nuts whenever someone comes to their door. So on the
webinar you could teach, in detail…

“Three techniques to train a dog to remain calm when people come to visit.”

Notice how this:


✓ Gives your audience something really valuable and tangible
✓ Is something they really need
✓ Only solves part of their problem, still leaving a need to buy your product

Along the way you’d also include content designed to help them recognize
that you’re the right person to help them solve their bigger problem.

You also want to provide: case studies and examples of how you’ve helped
other dog owners with their pets

That’s how you get them in the mindset they need to buy.

And that’s how you double your sales on your webinar!

Here’s one great formula that's working right now to boost sales after the
webinar:

✓ Day 0: Webinar

✓ Day 1: Replay

✓ Day 2: Edited Replay (just the core teaching)

✓ Day 3: Just the offer

✓ Day 4: Closing down/scarcity

This way, the sale begins once the webinar ends!

No matter how great your webinar is (and the promotion you put around
it), only 30% of your audience will ever register for your webinar.

Some won’t because they’re busy at the time you’re running it,

Some don’t think your webinar will give them enough value to be worth their
time.

Some have been burned by lousy webinars in the past and just don’t like
attending webinars.

But just because they didn’t register for your webinar doesn’t mean they
wouldn't buy your product!

So what do you do to sell your product to the 70% that never even registered?

Create a separate marketing campaign that you only show to those who don’t
register for your webinar.

This campaign should provide them with additional content that prepares
them to buy, then shows them your sales message.

(Sort of like a mini-launch.)

Then, once they’ve seen all that, send them to a sales letter to offer the
product.

In other words, if they don’t register for the webinar, you’re giving them the
chance to get all the information from the webinar in another form.

By doing this, your webinar funnel suddenly becomes more profitable…


enabling you to do all kinds of cool things, like being able to afford to
advertise so more people will attend, potentially turning your webinar funnel
into a money making machine that you can run over and over again, making
you money every time.

People are more likely to sign up for your webinar if they’ve been receiving
content from you about the subject of that webinar for days before you
announce that you’re holding a webinar.

If you were a dog trainer, this information could include:


✓ An email about the pros and cons of specific tools available to use in
training dogs

✓ Another about the having a kennel in the house for putting their dog into

These can reference how hard it is when people come to the door, but none
will even mention that you’re going to hold a webinar about that subject. 

This way, when you announce the webinar they’re already thinking about the
subject and excited to learn more.
