We are the group 8 and the last

presenters for today. We are here to defend the validity and
reliability of the research entitled THE PERCEPTION ON
COVID-19 VACCINES AMONG THE RESIDENTS OF BARANGAY
BATUHAN, POLA, ORIENTAL MINDORO.

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF YOUR STUDY?

The significance of our study benefits the institution, society and the future
researches. In way that that it can cater and address this problem in
accordance with the result of the study. This study can be the basis of the
future researchers as it holds the relevant data and information that is needed
with their theory. And the society can gain more information about covid-19
and people’s hesitancy and perception towards the vaccine.

WHAT SAMPLING METHOD DID U USE?

We used a non-probability sampling which is purposive or judgmental sampling

technique. We carefully picked and chose individual to be part of the sample.

WHAT IS THE FINDINGS?

The findings of our research is aligned with the series of questions enumerated
in the first chapter.
1. the covid 19 vaccine.
According to the respondents, it controls the spread of the covid to avoid
hospitalization and even death.
2. importance of vaccination program
Vaccination is a game changing tool. Getting vaccinated is very important as it
does only protects yourself but also also other people from risks of getting the
virus.
3. factors
According to the respondents, factors like misinformation, mistrust and side
effects are the factors that prevents and cause them to be hesitant in getting
the vaccine. They overestimated the risks and underestimated the benefits.
4. effects
A person who refused to get vaccinated will not be protected against the virus
and most likely to spread the disease to someone else. It can also lead to
another wave and the high risks of new variants.

Based on the results of the study, what is your

recommendations?
Our recommendations is aligned with the findings of our study in chapter 4.
The findings shows several factors affecting the perception of the residents of
batuhan like misinformation, lack of knowledge and side effects. Therefore, we
recommend to hold a conference in each barangay regarding the covid-19
vaccines.

WHAT IS YOUR STUDY ALL ABOUT?

In this time of pandemic, the government implements health measures
including the covid 19 vaccination program to control the spread of the virus
and to slowly restart the economy. But, there are factors that holds them from
getting vaccinated and it increases many risks that affects the society . Hence,
our study is all about the perceptions to the covid vaccine of the residents of
batuhan.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS TOPIC?
We went for this topic because this is the common problem that our
community is currently facing. That it needs to address in every institution and
must provide an answer and recommendation to get through .

METHODOLOGY
We surveyed the residents of barangay batuhan and we organized a series of
questions to collect and gather information that is needed in our study.

DESIGN
WE use a descriptive research design using qualitative
methodologies.

INSTRUMENT
We used survey questionnares for the data gathering using
google forms.
