Hello everyone my name is htoo htet aung . I am from starfish level-5B .

Today i
would like to share about Myanmar, my mother land . Myanmar , "the Golden land" ,
which was formerly knownas Burma, is located in the western part of mainland
Southeast Asia , it is shaped like a kite with the long tail the runs south along
the Manlay Peninsula. Myanmar is one of the Asean counties and is bordered on the
north and northeast by china , on the east and southeast by Laos and Thailand, on
the south by the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal and on the west by Bangladesh
and India.

Myanmar is abundant in natural resources and well - known fot its agriculture .
Myanmar have four main rivers. They are Ayeyarwaddy River , Chindwin River, Thanlwin
River and Sittaung River.Among then , Ayeyarwaddy is the most important and life
blod of Myanmar. Ayayarwaddy River is the principal river of Myanmar , running
through the center of the country. It is the largest and the vital commercial
waterway. It has a rich history , cultural tradition , remains of past kingdoms and
temples , historic treasures, distinct culture and traditional food.Myanmar
country is full of magnificent temples, many dating back to the 11th century but
also the local people have retained an impressive range of craftsmanship that is
still flourishing today and is not just for the tourists.

Nearly 90% of people in Mynamar today are Buddhist. It is known as the city of
four million pagodas, and you can see pagodas almost everywhere. If you want to
visit in Myamar ,first you should visit to Bagan. Bangan is ancient capital of
Myanmar . Bangan is the most important archaeological sites. You can enjoy a
beautiful sunrise and sunset as the sky becomes flooded with hot air volumes. And
then, you should visit to inlay lake . Inlay lake is located in Shan State . It has
many local villages. Inlay is known for it's floating gardens local fishermen have
a distinct rowing style, standing on one leg attached the other leg an oar , which
they paddle in the water. The last one you shouldn't miss is Shwedagon pagoda ,the
heart of Yangon . Shwedagon Pagoda is 2500 years old
Buddhist temple which is resplendent in over 60 tonnes of gold leaf and the most
sacred of all buddhist sites in Myanmar. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Bagan is
one of the most important archeological sites in Asia.
Inlay lake is the stunningly beautiful hidden gem of Myanmar. And Minngun is the
second largest uncracked ringing bell in the world. It is still hung and can still
ring.It has 90 tons (55555viss ) in measurement.

Our highlights include the magnificent Shawadegon pagoda in Yangon, riding in a

horse drawn carriage around the temples in Bagan, watching the sunset over Mandalay
from the Irrawaddi river and zipping across Lake Inle surrounded by lush forested
hills with the sky reflected in the glass-like lake. I would definitely recommend
to visit to Myanmar and experience it's old world charm and deep culture before it
most likely changes in the future.
