SIMILE
Her smile is as bright as the sunshine.
My heart is as loud as the sound of a drum.
She is like a sunset.
She’s as cold as ice.

METAPHOR
Her eyes were diamonds.
I’m an early bird.
She’s shining as a star.
My bed is a marshmallow.
Her eyes are so deep like a blue ocean.

PERSONIFICATION
Lightning danced in the sky.
The wind howled the night.
My clock is yelling at me to get out the bed every morning.
The trees are dancing.
The moon smiles at the stars in the sky.

PARADOX
