ACTIVITY - Six Thinking Hats


PURPOSE - The concept of Six Thinking Hats associates idea of parallel thinking & provides a means for
groups to plan thinking processes in a detailed and cohesive way and more effectively. The six thinking
hats is a tool to boost the productivity of creative thinking by dividing up the different styles
of thinking into six "hats": logic, emotion, caution, optimism, creativity, and control. Each person, or team,
takes on the role of a hat, ensuring that all viewpoints and styles are covered.

Conclusion - The hats themselves are great but I believe that the true power of this technique lies in a
simpler truth: it gets people to think about what they think, reflect about their true feelings and understand
at a different level their thoughts and the impact they have on others.

QUANTITATIVE ABILITY - Time and speed, Time & Work, Mensuration


PURPOSE - Quantitative Ability is basically the ability to interpret the meaning in numbers and
mathematics. A person with a quantitative aptitude will be in a better position to analyse and make sense
of the data given. Such a person will also be at ease with numbers. Therefore, quantitative aptitude is an
important measure for a prospective business executive's abilities.
USES - Quantitative Ability can be used and applied to everyday issues or problems. Working and
studying with quantitative reasoning can help the students not only to find solutions to their problems in
relation to professional or academic grounds but also to find answers to problems of their lives.

LOGICAL REASONING - Introduction to Logical Reasoning, Seating
arrangement
PURPOSE - Logical reasoning is a form of thinking in which premises and relations between premises are
used in a rigorous manner to infer conclusions that are entailed (or implied) by the premises and the
relations. Different forms of logical reasoning are recognized in philosophy of science and artificial
intelligence.
USES -The ability to reason has a fundamental impact on one's ability to learn from new information and
experiences because reasoning skills determine how people comprehend, evaluate, and accept claims
and arguments.
Improving Logical Reasoning  -
It happens because your natural logic skills are already highly developed. The thing to do is forget about
your natural skills entirely. To improve at logical reasoning, you need to tear down your old logical
reasoning skills and build new, better skills in their place.
