Mind to Matter

Meditation #1

Affirming the Gift of Inner Peace

Feel the breath flowing naturally in and out of your body. Feel the natural pace of your body’s own
rhythm reflected in your breath.

And as you feel yourself breathing naturally, in and out, imagine your breath flowing in and out through
your heart, through the area in your chest of your physical heart.

And as your breath flows naturally in and out place your hands over your heart. And as you breathe in
and out through your heart, tap lightly with your fingertips on your skin using the hand closest to your
chest. Tap lightly with your fingertips.

And with the other hand, tap lightly on the area between your eyebrows. Feeling your breath going
effortlessly in and out through your heart.

Fingertips of one hand tapping between your eyebrows; fingertips of the other hand tapping your heart.

Affirm these words with me: “I effortlessly release any and every obstacle to my inner peace. I now
embrace inner peace and I release anything and everything that stands between me and inner peace.”

Stop tapping. Relax your hands. Feel your breath going effortlessly in and out through your heart. And
slow your breathing down to six seconds per inbreath and six seconds per outbreath. Breathing in six
seconds through your heart; breathing out six seconds through your heart.

Relax your tongue and let it fall to the floor of your mouth. Picture a big, empty space behind your eyes.
Notice how relaxed your tongue is on the floor of your mouth. Feel your breath flowing in and out
through your heart. Six second in breaths and six second out breaths. Tongue relaxed on the floor of
your mouth; big empty space behind your eyes.

Feel your breath flowing easily in and out through your heart. Six second inbreaths, six second
outbreaths. Notice how relaxed your tongue is on the floor of your mouth. Notice the big, empty space
behind your eyes.

And as you breathe, and as you notice how relaxed you are, affirm these words: “I now release anything
and everything that stands between me and inner peace. I now release anything and everything that
stands between me and inner peace.

“I release anything in my body. I release anything in my emotions. I release anything in my mind. I


release anything in my past. I release anything in my energy field. I release anything and everything
anywhere in the entire universe that stands between me and inner peace. I embrace inner peace fully
and completely. And I release anything and everything else.

“My mind is full of peace. My heart is full of peace. My body is full of peace. And I release any and every
other possibility other than complete inner peace. I give myself the gift of inner peace in this moment, in
this body, in this mind, in this heart, in this energy field. I flood my entire experience with inner peace.
And I release any and every other possibility, now and forever. I accept inner peace. I embody inner
peace. I am inner peace. And I release any and every other possibility.”

Feel your breath flowing effortlessly in and out through your heart. Notice how relaxed your tongue is
on the floor of your mouth. Notice the big, empty space behind your eyes. Feel your breath through
your heart, six seconds in and six seconds out.

And as you breathe in and out, release any and every possibility other than inner peace.

Now take your hands again and tap with one hand on your heart, one hand between your eyebrows,
and affirm with me, “I anchor inner peace in my body. I anchor inner peace in my mind. I anchor inner
peace in my heart. I anchor inner peace in my experience. I anchor inner peace in my energy field and I
return myself to inner peace, moment by moment, throughout this day.”

Stop tapping. Relax your hands. And notice your breath flowing in and out through your heart. And
notice your tongue relaxed on the floor of your mouth. Notice the big, empty space behind your eyes.

And with the next three breaths, prepare to return yourself to the place you’re in, to your body, to your
environment.

Feel your hands, feel your feet. And as you open your eyes on the third breath, look around you. Notice
what time of day it is. Notice the dark and light shades around you. Bring yourself fully into the present
and know that this gift of inner peace is with you now and with you always. Thank you.
