(touch sensitive & weighted keys)

Accompaniment

• Live accompaniment will be the most ideal

• Grade 6-8 will grant the same UCAS points for UK

Recording Guidelines
• One continuous take & unedited.
• 720p recommended
• Portrait or landscape mode
• Camera should be static.
• Audio & Visual must be recorded simultaneously.
Only one external mic is allowed (if using)
• Candidate, instrument, original book or legally
downloaded copy must be seen clearly

Video Recording Steps
• No introduction required.
• Start with pieces (in performance order) OR technical
work, followed by the other
• For technical work, you may print out the page
• Show front & back of the paper to the camera to prove
there is no writing/notes on it.
• Close your book when playing scales from memory.

Exam Booking
• Register with your local Trinity representative
• Malaysia: Trinity Malaysia website

• Register at least 1 month before your desired exam month

i.e exam in April, register by early March
• Select exam month, fill in candidate’s information and pay
• An email containing the upload link (Trinity Learning
Portal) will be sent at beginning of the month
• 14 days to upload after receiving the email

• Log in to Trinity Learning Portal with username &
password provided in the email
• 14 days to upload from the date
• Advised to record 2-3 weeks before exam month as late
submission will not be accepted

Access Arrangements
• Fill in special needs form and submit immediately to
trinity.csn@trinitycollege.com after registration.
• Granted extra time for video recording or just so examiner
is aware of the condition.
• If needed, candidates can take a break and move out of
shot from camera or have the camera turned away from
them. They may also receive assistance from parent/carer
during the break. Video recording should go on during this
time.
