IV. PROCEDURES
A. Introduction The teacher will discuss the goals for the day’s lesson:
Infer word the meaning using the other parts of the
sentence;
Use context clues in defining difficult words; and
Share ideas about context clues.
The teacher will explain the mechanics of the activity, “Big

Mechanics:
1. The class will be divided into 5 groups.
2. Each group needs to assign a secretary to write their
answer/s.
3. The group needs to write the correct answer on their
board to receive points.
4. The group with the highest points wins the game.
C. Engagement
The class will be grouped into five, and will form a circle to
discuss their answer.
D. Assimilation The class will start the activity, “Big Board Facts”.
