Minutes of General PTA Assembly Meeting

Date: November 21, 2022


Venue: Grade 3-4 Classroom
Present: Three (3) Teachers
22 parents

1. The 1st GPTA Meeting started with the parents’ registration. An attendance sheet
was provided for them. At exactly 3:00 p.m. the meeting was called to order with 22
parents present.

2. Mrs. Anastacia Calagui was asked to lead the group in a prayer.

3. The following agenda were set before the body for approval:

4.No one opposed the agenda, so the meeting went on.

5. For the preparation of the National book week culminating activity, it was
communicated to the parents ensure the preparation of the school surroundings. The
parents were assigned locations which they will be held responsible for. They were also
informed regarding the activities to be conducted on the said day to assist and follow
up their children.

6. Parent of Kindergarten pupils with no PSA birth certificate are mandated to acquire
PSA certificate to ensure accuracy of their children’s record in the school. 3 out of 9
Kinder have no PSA birth certificate yet. It was agreed that all birth certificates will be
submitted on January for the LIS update.

7.The financial report school fund (from annual due) were done by the treasurer. The
names of the parents who paid earlier were also mentioned and commended for their
timely contribution. Others who haven’t paid yet were also encouraged to give their
share. Mrs. Freda Dalingay moved that the annual due for the school year 2022 may
be given before the year ends. The body December 9, 2022. The body also seconded on
the motion.

8.The cards were distributed to the parents. Majority were satisfied with their
children’s grades. Each adviser reported on each of the students’ academic concerns.
Two parents were asked to pay closer attention to her child’s needs as their children
needs remediation. It was explained to them that low academic performance of their
children needs to be addressed. They were informed that the children need to be
evaluate by a Physician so that the educational needs will be identified. Students with
minor concerns were also mentioned for the parents to know how to deal with their
children at home.

At the last few minutes of the meeting, the parents were asked to react and share
anything they want. They were even encouraged to ask questions for clarification

9.Being generally peaceful and successful, the meeting ended at 6:00 p.m
