SECTION 21 - TRANSMISSIONS ~ CHAPTER 2 25 ERROR CODES ‘Semi-Powershift Error Display Logic 41. Errors are displayed on the liquid crystal display portion of the gear shift and display assembly. A semi-powershift. transmission error code. is prefixed with an ‘F’. NOTE: Some very early tractors may have an ‘€” prefix displayed instead of an F. 2. Error codes always flash. 3. Generally, error codes accompanied by a pulse alarm signal require action by the operator, and the alarm will continue until the operator takes action. a) "CP" canbe cleared by cycling the clutch pedal. In most cases the shuttle lever can also be used to, clear"CP*. b) Mostother errors, accompanied by apulse alarm, can be cleared by cycling the shuttle lever. Under certain conditions, the pulse alarm will continue for 4 seconds while the lever is in neutral. 4, Other error codes, those no: accompanied by a pulse alarm are accompanied by a steady 5 ‘second alarm which then stops. Ifthe error clears during the 5 second period the alarm will stop when the error clears, 5. After the 5 second period the alarm will altemate with normal gear information on the gear display it the transmission is still operable. If the transmission is disabled, only the error code will be displayed. 608.54.321.00 - 05 ~ 1996 26 SECTION 21 — TRANSMISSIONS ~ CHAPTER 2 6. Errors have priority. Errors eccompanied by the pulse alarm will not allow lower priority errors to be displayed, but pulse alarm errors are usually temporary in nature. For errors without pulse alarm a) If a lower priority error occurs when a higher priority error is being displayed, the lower priority error will be displayed for 5 seconds AFTER the higher priority has been displayed for at least 5 seconds. Then the display wil retum to the higher, priority error. b) If a higher priority error occurs when a lower priority erroris being displayed, the higher priority error wil interrupt the display of the lower priority error. If the lower priority error has not been displayed for 5 seconds yet it will return for 5 seconds after the higher priority error has been displayed. For example, ifthere are several errors, at start up, due to a major hamess wiring fault, the errors will all be displayed once, for 5 seconds ‘each, in priority order, before the display returns to displaying only the highest priority error. 603.54.321.00 - 05 - 1996 SECTION 21 - TRANSMISSIONS ~ CHAPTER 2 Error Code Listing 27 ERROR TRANS. | ALARM CODE ERROR DESCRIPTION PRIORITY) status | MODE Fo2 Fast/Slow Synchro — bad calibration value in NVM 42 | Enabled or not calibrated Fos WIR Synchro — bad calibration value in NVM 41 | Enabled or not calibrated Fit Inching pedal potertiometer undervoltage 148 Disabled | Pulse 71 | Enabled Fiz Inching pedal potentiometer overvoltage 138| Disabled | Pulse 70 | Enabled Fi3 Upshift and downshift switches both closed 78 | Enabled F20 Synchroniser did not engage — range shift 23 | Enabled Fat Coils disconnected ~ Limp home or hamess error 1 | Disabled F22 Synchroniser did not disengage — range shift 24 | Enabled F23 Creeper engaged, speed or gear to high 35 | Enabled F24 All clutches/synchronisers need calibration 11 | Disabled Fer ERPM to low — circuit open or short 60 | Enabled F3t ‘Synchroniser did not engage — shuttle shift 19 | Disabled | Pulse F32 ‘Synchroniser did not engage after power up 20 | Disabled | Pulse F33 ‘Synchroniser did not disengage - shuttle or neutrall 21.
