General Objectives: At the end of the discussion, the mother will have gained some basic knowledge about what jaundice is and the
difference between physiologic jaundice and pathologic jaundice. In addition, mothers will also be able to identify the possible signs and
symptoms of an infant who is having either physiologic or pathologic problems. Finally, they will be informed about the basic
management or interventions for an infant with jaundice.
