DEDICATION
In Memory of Danny Riggins
Affable and sincere, Danny Russell Riggins was a popular business
owner, community leader and newly elected St. Marys City Council
member when he died Dec. 11, 2022, in Jacksonville, Fla. He was 70.
Always quick with a handshake and smile, Riggins was the the
co-owner of Coastal Car Care, the Best of the Best 2022 winner in
the Auto Repair/Service Center category.
Even more impressive was Riggins’ victory in the Best of the Best
2022 Elected Official category. Riggins’ support came before he had
taken office or before he died. That, we think, is a testament to the
high hopes Camden County residents had for Riggins.
Like so many others, we mourn the loss of Riggins. It is in his honor
that we dedicate this year’s Best of the Best 2022 to Riggins’ memory
and his steadfast support and love for a community that loved him just
as much.
