PROGRAMS
UCLA Early Academic Outreach Program (2019 - Present)
EAOP provides students with ongoing academic advising to ensure that they successfully complete the
required college preparatory courses. They specialize in academic advising through the A-G course
requirement required for UCs and CSUs. There are also informational workshops for college prep
requirements.
UCLA EAOP’s AP Readiness Program (Summer, August 2022)
Out of 30 people who applied at my school, I was only 1 of 2 students who were selected to attend and
dorm at UCLA for a week. Through this program, it was possible for me to attend on-campus
classes/workshops, experience college and dorm life, and to further push my academic abilities in AP classes.
EXP “The opportunity engine” (2019 - Present)
EXP is a nonprofit organization, specializing in delivering an innovative, career-based curriculum.
EXP bridges the gap between industry and schools. They provide career preparation, workshop, and internship
connections to high students.
EXP: Young Fellow Program (2020 - Present)
Discussed various social topics dealing with racism, masculinity, and mental wellness. Online
speakers spoke with us and discussed these several topics. They have also discussed their experiences dealing
with those topics
CSULB: Educational Talent Search (2021 - Present)
ETS provides students with support through college searching and career planning. Through this program, I
discovered what I wanted to major in. ETS provides support for academic advising, exploring post-secondary
education, and financial aid application assistance.
