Pinwheel candle matches guitar plastic comb bits of paper

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO :

1. Perform the different procedures. Observe and identify the

different forms of energy present in the different materials.

1. Observe what is found at the end of the matchstick.

Light the candle using the matchstick. What form of
energy is present in the lighted candle?

B. Development
substance-such as air or water- in the forms of waves. Sounds
can be transmitted by solid, liquids and gases, as these all have
atoms to pass on the vibrations.

How sound are produced?

 Sound comes from vibrations. Vibrations are back-and-forth
movements in molecules of air or other matter that travels
through a medium. A sound wave is created when molecules
bump into each other and form a wave.
 Sound energy can travel through any type of matter (solids,
liquids, and gases). It cannot travel through areas that don't have
matter, such as outer space.
 When sound travels through water it moves four times faster
than when it travels through air.
 An echo is created when sound waves travel a long distance
and then bounce off an object and back to your ear
