 General Instructions
1) Suppliers must establish IMDS access for their
company with HP at www.mdsystem.com
2) Visteon follows all IMDS Recommendations in addition
to all unique OEM / Customer requirements
3) Visteon IMDS reporting guidelines can be found on the
Visteon Supplier Portal Î My Supply Manual Î Supply
Chain Î IMDS
4) Visteon requires an independent IMDS submission
(IMDS ID) for every unique part number supplied to
Visteon
5) Visteon SPE requires proof of your IMDS submission in
your PPAP package

1) In Sent Items, search for the part your company submitted to Visteon

2) When your part number is displayed, select “Preview”

3) Select “PDF File”, then select the point of view as “Visteon Corporation”
4) Then select “Continue” to get the PDF format to include w/ your PPAP Package

5) PDF report will contain all necessary part number and IMDS Information for your PPAP
