“METHODOLOGIES AND TECHNIQUES TO TEACH ENGLISH”

Community Language Learning

I lean towards this teaching method for English because I consider it very complete and
well structured, which allows us to obtain better results when evaluating the progress of our
students. Also to complement the information studied at the beginning of the activity, I can
add that the method focuses on aspects related to the processes of socialization and
identification - interaction with the speakers of the target language and their culture. The
linguistic aspects focus on sociolinguistic and psycholinguistic issues; that is, it is assumed
that the linguistic and the social cannot be separated.

Regarding the techniques for teaching the second language, I consider some techniques to
be very useful and reliable, such as: The connection with our students since it allows us to
get to know each other and facilitates the interaction between both, also generating trust
that favors the learning process. As well as it is of great importance to verify their
understanding of the language they are learning because this helps us to know the progress
that our students have, as well as the possible doubts or difficulties they may have. In the
same way, I consider that the integration of technology to this process could generate new
advances and new ways of learning for our preschool children in this case.
