II. INTRODUCTION AND RATIONALE
The COVID-19 is not just causing health crises around the world, but it is also
affecting all spheres of life, including the field of education. The pandemic is not just causing
health crisis around the world, but it also affecting all spheres of life, including the field of education. The
challenge is how the Department of Education (DepEd) can operate learning this new normal. Both
teachers and students are experiencing such dilemma that needs to be addressed. Some of the students are
having trouble in academics such as in numeracy and literacy. Consequently, we proposed a project called
"AGHAMazing: Buhay at Sining sa Siyensya!AHA! to support our beloved instructors. The students will
learn about school-related topics through this project and aid them in enhancing and boosting their
knowledge.
On the other hand, implementing this project will help students in any manner we can. Educating
them with the lessons in the simplest way possible is one strategy for combating inadequate reading
comprehension while yet nurturing science biology. This project intended to address issue with reading
comprehension, scientific skills, and to serve as catalyst for literacy growth. A week-long literacy project
in selected school might greatly improve the reading comprehension and scientific skills while also
encouraging them to study harder.
Communication and social skills of students are required attributes in the professional field.
Overall, this project will assist the students in developing scientific literacy through teaching life science. It
will also provide scientific entertainment to certain high school students. Besides, it specifically aims to
assist students learn about the lessons on;

C. Expected Outcome
At the end of implementing the Project CAUSE to the community, the proponents
are expected to attain the general and the specific objectives. And also, at the end of the
immersion the students and youth leaders must be able to attain depth knowledge
about nature preservation and promotion, and be able to gain knowledge about the
crucial parts of the research paper and other scientific related topics.
V. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The proponents will make the Project CAUSE possible through webinar sessions and
virtual activities. And this project will be managed by considering the risk. In this project,
each proponent has considered the risk and the opportunity in implementing the subproject
associated with the pandemic.
In the operational risk, COVID – 19 may lead to unnecessary circumstances,
implementing the project through a face to face activity has a high risk. Furthermore,
financial risks have also been considered, this depends on the capability of the proponent
in providing financial support to make the project possible.
Moreover, the unstable internet connection that we are all experiencing was also one
of the key factors that we envision that might affect the delivery of the sub-projects. And
lastly, we also considered the availability of each participant during the time of
implementing the subproject of each proponent. The personal schedules of our participants
may vary from time to time, that's why we also consider this as one of the risk factors.
The project of the Enthu-Science: 2P’s about nature proponents will be possible
through a webinar session. The speakers are from the proponents and also, there will be
invited speakers to discuss important topics regarding environmental protection and
promotion. We will provide load assistance to those chosen youth leaders of Donsol so that
they will be able to join the said webinar session. There will be a Facebook Page for
posting the information and updates about the said project. Also, the proponents will
provide and distribute brochures and info-graphics for the participants and non-
participants, the implemented health protocols will be observed. This will be done during
LTS time only (Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 am to 9:00 am).
Additionally, the project “SEED- Science Engagement for Environmental
development” will also be implemented through online via Zoom. The proponents of these
project will seek help to the LGU of Cumadcad, Castilla, Sorsogon to encourage youths in
the area to attend the webinar by messaging/ sending an email at their Facebook page. The
discussion during the webinar will be about the
cause, effect, and the solution of environmental degradation. The webinar will also be
recorded and will be posted on Facebook Page of Cumadcad for those youth that has no
stable internet. The proponents will also create an infographic that will be posted on the
Facebook page of Cumadcad to continuously reach out those youths that were not able to
play the recorded video for some circumstances. However, the webinar will also be opened
for other youths from different areas that are willing to join.
For the effectiveness of the third project component named project TABANG, the
management of this project will start by issuing a letter of permission to the school
principal, requesting for the participation of six students from Grade 10 STEM students
that are willing to undergo a 10-week (30 hours/20 days) session. For effective
implementation, mode of learning has also been considered and be effectuated through
different concurred internet platforms. Upon receiving the approval, the proponents will
then conduct an online survey through google form. Then gathered data will be used in
plotting the curve and providing aid just for the instance of giving load assistance. In
proper implementation, the group members and the participants involved with this, will
undertake a synchronous and asynchronous peer tutoring named KaARAM Session stands
for Kaupod sa pag- aram in which the members will consider all students’ concern with
their modular learning. The concerns aforementioned generally talk about difficult topics
encountered by the students. The peer tutoring will last for 1 hour and 30 minutes, twice a
week. On each one participant, there will be one assisting member.
The main medium to be utilize by Project RADIATE (Research Assistance and
Development of Instructional Approaches for Tutorial and Education) is through a
Facebook page. All of the instructional material (e.g., pre-recorded videos) and the
evaluation will be posted in this platform. The posting of pre-recorded videos will only be
done once a week, the main content of these videos are tips and advice in writing a
research paper. By using a Facebook page, Project Radiate aims to reach the majority
of grade 11 senior high school students in Bulan National High School. In addition, the
proponents will beforehand ask cooperation with the Student Bodies of Bulan National
High School for further information
dissemination. After all of the pre-recorded videos are uploaded an evaluation will be
posted on the same Facebook page, this will assess the knowledge gained by the
participants from the instructional materials given.

The following tables below shows the allocation of the budget to be used to accomplish the
said projects under CAUSE. It entails where the budget came from and how it will be effectively
used in conducting the sub-projects.
The expected budget for this sub-project costs 2,500 pesos which will be distributed
accordingly to the specific materials needed for implementing the project. Since we are in this
new learning modalities, the proponents under this project will conduct a webinar session in
educating 15 youth leaders. In order for the participants to join the seminar, the proponents will
provide cellular load assistance to the participants, each of them will receive 50-peso load for a
total of 1,590 pesos to accommodate their needs for active participation. On the other hand, there
will be 10 winners for the particular activity that the proponents will conduct during the session
and that will cost 180 pesos since the proponents will be giving 15-peso load per winner.
Lastly, the proponents will provide
145 pieces (5 pesos per page) of printed brochures and info-graphics for the participants and
non-participants that will be distributed with the help of the Youth Leaders and it will cost 730
pesos.
- Certificates
The expected budget for this sub-project costs 1, 600 pesos for the specific materials needed
in implementing the project. The proponents will be conducting a webinar as it is the most
convenient modality for this activity given today’s situation and to ensure the safety of each
participant. Since this project will be using internet connection, the proponents will be allotting
300 pesos for their load expenses and a total of 1, 000 pesos only for the participants. Even
though the area has access for free- wifi, the amount intended for the load expenses for the
participants is for considering those who can’t access the barangay’s free-wifi. A total of 300
pesos will be allotted for the token of appreciation for the speaker. The certificate of participation
will be given as a sign of acknowledging the effort of the participants in joining the said activity.
The certificates will be sent to their e-mails after the evaluation.
Php 250.00 50 pesos worth of Load for the participants Group Members
who will get a perfect score on the
evaluation. (5 lucky participants only)
Php 1, 750.00 Total Expenditures
The expected budget for this sub-project (RADIATE) is around 1,750 pesos only due to
several adjustments and considerations for one's safety, the project will be implemented
effectively with the use of social media, as it is the best virtual public place to extend the
advocacy. The project would not work without internet connectivity; therefore, 1,500 pesos from
the estimated budget will be allotted to two from the proponents (750 pesos each for 1 month)
for their internet connectivity. The remaining 250 pesos from the budget is allotted to reward 50
pesos load for 5 winners who will get the first five high scores in our activity after the
implementation of the project to assess participants from the videos that will be posted in the
Facebook page if they were able to acquire knowledge from it.
SUGGESTED SOURCE OF
SPECIFIC MATERIALS
BUDGET BUDGET
To effectively implement this sub-project named Project TABANG, this project will utilize
internet platforms. The concurred internet platform will consume a lot of mobile data for just one
session that is why the member of this project proposed of giving money as load assistance for
the participants. The load assistance for the target
participants will roughly cost about 200 every month, this will be multiplied by 2 – the number
of months we will execute this project. The product will be again multiplied to the number of
participants who needs load assistance, the estimated budget for load assistance is expected to
reduce since the project will also do an asynchronous session.
