Suitability / shots for production (scene numbers)

The location has posters and decorations in the background already with enough lighting already
so I do not have to decorate it myself. It has already that edgyness already so it suits the
production. There is a wide space for choreography to take place for scene 1. It has an archway
already so it adds to the choreography in terms of variety for the scene.

Lighting Information:
In my inspiration photos found during research,
I wanted to have practical lighting in the shots
such as the warm lighting from lamps or
candles etc. This location has lamps already and
it is safe to use candles (under provision). The
lamps have the similar warm lighting that I
wanted. There is a coloured lighting panel strip
at the edge of the ceiling. I would be able to use
for added colour lighting from a higher angle.
I would like to stay away from using the above
light source (not the coloured strip) as it
doesn’t look good on camera and in general.
There are some areas in the room that are
quite dark, such as the closet area.
Sound Information:
As my production is a music video, I won’t be
recording sound for the majority of filming. In
the beginning, I want to have some background
sounds of the character walking into the walls
so I will be recording those sounds.
Power Information
There is power points available in order to
charge any equipment needed. That could be
just camera batteries. They will also be needed
to turn on Lamps for the background.
Hazards
The space is quite spacious so filming the
choreographic parts will be way easier as there
is space to film for crew. The only thing is that
because majority of the space will be used
during shots so there won’t be enough space
for all the crew.
Solutions:
Because there are areas that are quite a bit
darker – they do add shadows, but it may be
too dark. I might add some lamps to combat
this issue.
To make the space look more natural and
realistic, there are some candles already, but I
might bring some candles as well (of course
under provision during filming) and place them
where necessary.
Solutions:
I have hired out a Camera Mic to be able to
record these sounds a bit better. I am not sure
how well these will turn out. If they don’t
sound that great after filming, I will then use
foley sounds to replace them and edit them as
close as possible to the sounds I wanted.
Solutions:
I don’t think there would be any problems to fix
regarding power as there is already power
available for devices.
Solutions:
I have limited the crew to only a few people,
but some crew may need to be moved out of
the room in order to film. Otherwise, they will
be in the shot.
