Muhammad's effort levels have been good this year in Science. He shows and
applies sufficient scientific knowledge and understanding using sufficient

and understanding in practical concepts. In order to improve, he should use
some skills and techniques to answer questions, solve problems and test ideas.
Muhammad's attendance this year has been 92.75%. As a school, our target is
96% so Muhammad should be aiming to improve this level of attendance with
your support. His punctuality to form time has been 92.75. During the
Tutor forthcoming year, I hope that he will amazing in order to support his learning
further. In terms of remote learning, Muhammad is continue to be on time
every day and he should generally good.

Year 9 – Mathematics and Science grading


Year 9 are studying the new iGCSEs in mathematics and science. The grading of iGCSEs and GCSEs will be changing for pupils obtaining
iGCSEs in 2018, pupils will receive a mixture of ‘traditional’ grades ranging from G to A* (A* is the highest level of attainment) and also
grades in the form of numbers ranging from 1 to 9, with 1 being the lowest and 9 the highest. Grade 4 will be equivalent to a current Grade C
and Grades 8 and 9 will split the current Grade A* into two groups. Further education establishments are setting entry requirements at a Grade
5.
